Starving the COVID-19 Beast: The Importance of Safe Behaviours

Starving the COVID-19 Beast: The Importance of Safe Behaviours

COVID-19 has disrupted our lives greatly since March and people and businesses have been adjusting to a new ‘normal’. For the most part, we have collectively made great efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19. However, in recent times we have seen a resurgence in daily cases. Cluster outbreaks, scenes of ignorance and complacency force us to consider our safe behaviours and attitudes toward COVID-19.

The single most important thing we can all do to help manage the risk of COVID-19 is to adopt Safe Behaviours. This means taking accountability for our actions and behaviours and ensuring that we all:

  • Know what these behaviours are and
  • Hold ourselves (and others) responsible for these behaviours.

SeaChange have identified the 10 safety behaviours we can all do to Starve the COVID-19 Beast! We explain why they are important, what to do, and how to make each safety behaviour a long-lasting habit. Stay tuned for more information on the 10 Safety Behaviours that can make all the difference in mitigating the risk of COVID-19.

Since March SeaChange have been helping existing and new clients around their COVID-19 risk assessments, training and protocols. We are delighted to have delivered courses in partnership with Retail Excellence Ireland, Irish Hotels Federation and Leisure Health & Fitness Skillnet. We have developed bespoke training including SeaChange COVID-19 Safety Champion, COVID-19 Rapid Response Programme and When the HSA Inspector Calls: What to expect.
